As we hit the third week of our fast, we thank God for the testimonies so far. This week we are praying against afflictions and untimely death.
The Bible says in Isaiah 54:14 (NKJV):
In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
This is God’s promise to us; I pray that we all write it on the walls of our hearts, knowing that the word of God can never fail.
We have the confidence that God wants us to be shielded from oppression and every kind of terror. We have been called to a life of boldness and dominion in Christ, therefore we shall not fear because God is with us (amen).
We have the confidence that God wants us to be shielded from oppression and every kind of terror. We have been called to a life of boldness and dominion in Christ, therefore we shall not fear because God is with us.
Psalm 89:21-23 (HCSB) says:
My hand will always be with him, and My arm will strengthen him. The enemy will not afflict him; no wicked man will oppress him. I will crush his foes before him and strike those who hate him.
We are not living under the spirit of bondage and fear in the world as it is written in Romans 8:15 (NKJV):
“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
Likewise, 2 Timothy 1:7 says:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Therefore, it is time to rise up boldly and break free from every spirit of oppression because freedom from oppression is our God given heritage. We do not have any reason to be afraid.
Let us rise up in the spirit of power. Let us confront every affliction knowing that we have victory in Jesus. Let us rise up against the spirit of death and destruction, being confident that God has promised to satisfy us with a long good life. He has promised to carry us even to our old age.
Isaiah 46:4 (NKJV) says :
“Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.”
Psalm 91: 15-16: says:
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”
Therefore brothers and sisters let us rise up and meditate on the words of deliverance that have been graciously written to each one of us by our loving Father.

As we meditate on the above scriptures, my prayer is for all of to make a fresh resolve to see God for who is and follow His commandments as we pay very careful attention to His words and His ways. Our God is more than able to defend, deliver and preserve us. Therefore, declare boldly and don’t hold back: “I shall not die, but live,And declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118:17 (NKJV)
God’s strength and joy to all of us as we continue to wait on Him.
God bless you,
